Are you a snacker?  Who isn't, right?! I'm a girl who loves her popcorn when I'm watching a good movie or just want something to munch on. I really do love popcorn better than any other snack! To be honest I eat popcorn almost every night! Really!!

I was so excited to get to try a Sampler Pack of popcorn from G.H. Cretors. G.H. Cretors is an awesome company who makes some delicious tasting popcorn! G.H. Cretors popcorn is all natural and does not contain any GMO's (genetically modified organisms). Their popcorn is also gluten-free for those who have dietary restrictions or want a gluten-free snack.

For my review I got a wonderful box of G.H. Cretors popcorn with their 3 varieties including Chicago Mix, Cheese Corn and Caramel Corn. The bags of popcorn came in a beautiful sturdy box and I received it in speed lightening time! 

My husband couldn't wait to open a bag of popcorn so the first bag I opened was the Chicago Mix. Well, let me tell you, we couldn't stop eating it! It was the tastiest caramel and cheese popcorn I have ever had! The caramel popcorn just melts in your mouth. That's how good it is! It definitely is a lot better than any other store brands that I have had before. The cheese popcorn is just as great with a wonderful rich cheese flavor. Hubby kept on eating "my popcorn" till he ate an entire bag. I had to hide a bag for myself so he wouldn't eat it all!

G.H. Cretors popcorn has large fluffy kernels of popcorn which are amazing! They've been popping corn for over 125 years and pop each kernel to perfection. If you are looking for some good snacking, this is the popcorn to get! It would be a great Christmas gift or to just get some for your family any time!

My Review:  This past Spring I had the wonderful opportunity to review NAAT Treatment Repair Care by NuNAAT. I really liked how these products made my hair more healthy, soft and better looking. Recently, I was approached again by the same company to try a brand new collection of products called NAAT Garlic Magic Collection!

The first thing I thought of when I heard the word "garlic", well to me it didn't sound very appealing. But then I read that there is no garlic smell. Hmm, I was  still skeptic about it.

When I received my NAAT Collection the first thing I did was take the cap off and took a whiff of the products and guess what?! They all smell so amazingly great with a fresh, clean scent! Now I couldn't wait to try them all out. By the way, the bottles all are in my favorite color, which is purple! The caps are a lighter shade, like a lavender. So that was a great start! 

I was going to start growing my hair out but decided that I didn't like the "grow out" stage so now am back to the short hair that is easier to take care of anyways. Also, I don't think I look good with longer hair anyways. I just got my hair highlighted before I started with the NAAT Garlic Magic Collection so it was good timing.

First of all I started with the NAAT Garlic Magic Shampoo and like I said, it smelled divine. I liked how it makes my hair feels squeaky clean after washing it. After washing my hair I rinse it thoroughly.

NAAT Garlic Magic Conditioner:  I used this after washing my hair and applied it generously, as the bottle states. Then I made sure all my hair got massaged with the conditioner and let it stand for 2 minutes. Afterwards, I rinsed it out and towel dried my hair. Easy as pie!

 

NAAT Garlic Hair Mask:  As states on this container, this NAAT Garlic Hair Mask deeply moisturizes and strengthens hair from the roots. I applied some of this product on my hair generously, as the container states. Then I worked it into my hair very thoroughly. After waiting about 15-20 minutes I rinsed it out real good.

NAAT Garlic Magic Leave-In:  This product is something that you can put in your hair after washing and using the conditioner. Put some as needed on your hair, as the bottle states. You don't have to rinse this product out of your hair. Then just comb or style.

 I have used the NAAT Garlic Magic Collection for a little over 2 weeks and I am  pleased with the results! My hair is softer and feels so smooth and silky. The picture below my highlights have grown out since my hair really grew.

Striped Delight Dessert (Oreos, Chocolate Pudding, Cool Whip)

Here is a great dessert for kids and grown ups too! I might make it for Thanksgiving, along with the pumpkin pie, of course! If you like chocolate pudding, Oreos, and cool whip, you'll love it! I haven't made it in a long time but ran across it again in my recipes.

35 Oreo cookies

6 Tbsp. butter, melted

1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese

1/4 cup sugar

 2 Tbsp. cold milk

1 tub (12 oz.) Cool Whip, thawed, divided

3 1/4 cups cold milk

2 pkg. (4-serving size each) chocolate instant pudding & pie filling

Place cookies in food processor and process to form fine crumbs.  Transfer to medium bowl.  Add butter; mix well.  Press firmly onto bottom of 13x9-inch dish.  Refrigerate 10 min.  Meanwhile, beat cream cheese, sugar and 2 Tbsp. milk in separate bowl with wire whisk until well blended (I use an electric mixer).  Stir in 1 1/4 cups of the whipped topping.  Spread over crust.

Pour 3 1/4 cups milk into large bowl.  Add dry pudding mixes.  Beat with wire whisk 2 min.  or until well blended.  Spoon evenly over cream cheese layer.  Let stand 5 min. or until thickened.  Spread remaining whipped topping over pudding layer.

Refrigerate at least 4 hours.  Store leftover dessert in refrigerator.

With the busy holidays around the corner, it's great to have a quick and easy meal to make that you can cook in a matter of minutes! When you get home from shopping or from work the last thing you want to do is start cooking a big meal.

Kroger is a favorite grocery store of mine! I love the wide selection of products and everything is always fresh. Recently I got to try out some awesome products from Kroger. I got to try out a Kroger Skillet Meal, Kroger Garlic Bread, and Fresh Selections Salad Kits. 

There are a wide variety of Kroger Skill Meals that it was hard to choose one. Finally I chose the Penne with Grilled Chicken since I love red peppers and onions. All I had to do was open the package and put it in a frying pan on medium heat with the cover on. It was amazingly easy and only took ten minutes. I only had to stir it a couple of times and it was done! Easy as pie! I liked it quite well. My husband and daughter thought it was good too.

I also got to try out the Kroger Garlic Bread which was great and was a huge loaf! I put it in the oven at 450 degrees and put each half on a cookie sheet like the directions say to do. It turned out great and was very delicious and buttery. I had never tried Kroger Garlic Bread before but am going to be sure to pick some of it on my next shopping trip!

To go along with my meal I also got to try out a Fresh Selections Salad Kit. I chose the Caesar Salad Kit which went well with my meal. This came with everything you need for a salad - dressing, parmesan cheese, and croutons too! The lettuce was crunchy and fresh and tasted really good! I was very impressed!

The next time I go to Kroger I am going to get some more of the Kroger Skillet Meals, Kroger Garlic Bread and Fresh Selections Salad Kits. They are so convenient and will come in hand for the hectic holidays or for a quick lunch or dinner!

Every year I love looking at all the decorations in the stores and that people start putting up outside of their houses.

My favorite restaurant (The Cracker Barrel) has had Christmas decorations up for quite some time already and it's so nice to look at all the shiny and glittery ornaments and the like. But when you think about it, what is all the decorating for? I know the stores all want to make money, but why do you decorate? It is nice when you have little children but when your kids are older it isn't quite as fun any more. When you have little children Christmas is more fun because of their excitement about everything. 

I still like looking at my vintage Christmas candles of carolers and also some other vintage hard plastic decorations from the 50's. I've also got a vintage wreath that I purchased last year on eBay that I just thought about. I do like looking at vintage Christmas decorations because of the nostalgia. Most importantly, I think the true meaning of Christmas is lost sometimes. Jesus was born in a stable in Bethlehem. This is what the true meaning of Christmas is.

It is nice to look at your Christmas tree for awhile, but then it's time to take it down. To me, it's always kind of a let down. Maybe you could call it the "after Christmas blues". Well, now that I've told my little story, what about you? How do you feel about decorating for Christmas?
