The Pink Angel ring really sparkles and plays with the light. The center pink tourmaline cubic zirconia stone is showcased by the glittering teardrop cubic zirconias at each side. It is set in elegant sterling silver and is really a stand out beautiful ring!

If you are like me, you want to get in shape for the coming warm weather. The winter has been brutal and it's wonderful to get outside. I really don't like exercising  but one thing I don't mind is walking. 

Walking is so easy and all you need is a good pair of shoes, comfortable clothes, and you are ready to go! Knowing how far you walked is neat too, so you know how many steps or miles you've gone during a day or period of time.

Recently I've received a great new motivational gadget to get me going.....the Ozeri 4x3motion Digital Pocket 3D Pedometer with Tri-Axis Technology. Ozeri has such amazing and quality made products and this little Pedometer is no exception!

First of all the Ozeri Pedometer is a nice slim design which can fit in your pocket or you can put it around your neck with the lanyard they include. I don't listen to much music other than my usual (Neil Diamond) and rock and roll from the 60's and 70's. But then yesterday I saw something on Facebook. It was an interview with Pharrell Williams and Oprah talking about how his song 'Happy' has skyrocketed all over the world and is so popular.

 It showed videos of all over the world how so many people are loving this song. Well, I must be living under a rock or something because I never heard the song before.

I started listening to Pharrell's song 'Happy' and have been playing it over and over since then. Then I had to look up the lyrics to it so I could sing along. 

I think it's a song we need in today's society! It just makes you feel good listening to this amazing song.

I recently got to try out a new beauty product from Valentia Skin Care which is called Even Glow Serum. When I received my package it was wrapped securely and in great condition.

The serum comes in a brown glass 1.18 oz. bottle with a dropper included. The product is sealed with plastic around the top which you remove before using.

The first thing I noticed when opening the bottle of the Even Glow Serum was the wonderful scent. It has a fresh orange citrus scent which reminded me of fresh orange juice. But if you are worried about smelling like an orange, don't worry!  When you apply the serum the scent quickly dissipates. 

Even Glow Serum has 98% natural ingredients which include 20 % of Vitamin C.
 It also includes Organic Rosehip Seed Oil and Organic Seed Buckthorn Oil, Resistem (Plant Stem Cells), Hyaluronic Acid (Botanical), and Green Tea Extract.

It has a thinner consistency and it says on the bottle to shake lightly before use as the natural products tend to separate. I put a small amount on my arm to try it out and rubbed it in. It absorbed very quickly into my skin and was not greasy at all. It didn't leave a sticky residue either but went on smoothly.

It's that time of year when I start thinking about getting ready for a garage sale. It's been a long boring winter! All you could do is stay in the house and look outside, unless you like being in the frigid temperatures. 

For entertainment I look in thrift stores when I go to the city. There are about 4 different stores I go to when I go to the city. The reason I go is to look for some antique, collectible or the like that I can sell on eBay. It's kind of like a treasure hunt! 

Sometimes you get lucky and find a treasure that sells for a lot more than you bought it for. Sometimes you buy something and it's nothing. Just a piece of "stuff". So when it's nothing I keep it for the Spring when we have a garage sale.

Recently I found a little vintage Christmas angel ornament that I bought for 59 cents. I put it on eBay and was shocked to sell it for $41.00! That was a good deal! Lots of times I can't even sell what I buy, but it's fun to try.

Last year it was a cooler Spring so we didn't have a sale till about the end of May or beginning of June. I can't wait to sell of my "stuff" and make a little extra money.

Well, our microwave bit the dust the other day! It's been acting up for a couple of weeks and the other night I went to use it to make some popcorn. I put my popcorn in the microwave and shut the door. Pressed popcorn and some weird number or letters came up and that was it! It was shot!

I remember buying this microwave so it can't be but two years old. Well, we live in a tiny town and the closest place to get one quick is twenty miles away....to Walmart!

Yes, it sucks living in a small town sometimes. You are always filling up the gas tank to go some place. 

Anyways, I went one day without having a microwave and couldn't stand it. So last night I went to buy one. My daughter and I were looking at them and they had the exact microwave that we had at home.

We bought it because they didn't have any other ones with the same wattage. When I was checking out the cashier asked if I wanted to purchase a 2 year warranty for $15 and I just said no. I didn't tell her that the one I had lasted about 2 years anyways.

It made me think of how times have changed. I remember when our town had a TV repairman (who fixed radios also), shoe repairman, washer repairman, and probably some other types of repairmen.

Can you imagine how much of this junk is in landfills....on top of everything else!? What will life be like when our children or grandchildren grow up?  Sometimes I think it would be nice to go back to the older way of living. We live in a throw away society with everything. If it's broke, you just throw it away because they make everything cheap.

I remember many of my own teachers I had while growing up in our small town. One of my teachers was Mrs. D who was a wonderful and compassionate teacher. Mrs. D always took the time to help you with your homework if you didn't understand that one problem. She always taught with the ability to make you interested in what she was teaching also. No matter what subject it was, she made learning fun and interesting. 

Every day teachers go above and beyond in a lot of ways. When my daughter was in second grade one of her teachers was always doing something above and beyond. I know she spent countless hours of her personal time and money out of her pocket preparing for fun and exciting projects for her students. One of those projects was doing a play and baking cookies for a nursing home. The kids were going to visit the nursing home for Thanksgiving and give a play for the residents. This teacher helped out with baking dozens of cookies to pass out for the senior citizens. She wanted to make sure everyone had a cookie and it was so fun for the kids to pass them out to the seniors!

When I teamed up with Office Depot to share what some teachers are doing it was amazing to see how many teachers are going above and beyond. Many spend money out of their own pocket every year, especially in underfunded areas. Some spend thousands of dollars of their own money for their classroom supplies, which was very shocking to hear!

One of those teachers who spends out of her pocket for her classroom is Cassie Cox who teaches at an alternative high school in Utah. Cassie is a former drop out who went on to get her Master's Degree, and wants the same for her students.
